At Anglia Tours, we make it our priority to arrange highly engaging school tours to enrich students’ learning experiences. We have a whole host of destinations on offer, each specifically chosen for their rich past and engaging subject matters.
During a school trip to Krakow, our guides will take your students on a variety of insightful excursions that will bring to life some of the most poignant moments in the city’s history. Our guided history tours offer key insights in line with popular curriculums, with information tailored specifically to your learning objectives.
During our guided Auschwitz and Krakow school tour, students will get the opportunity to visit the former Jewish community of Kazimierz, the site of the wartime ghetto in Podgorze, and the infamous Plaszow labour camp. These visits will be followed by a full day’s study at the Auschwitz Memorial Museum. Students here will head on a guided tour around the famous site, before getting the increasingly rare opportunity to meet a Holocaust survivor or recipient of the ‘Righteous Amongst the Nations’ award, to hear their unique stories and ask them about their experiences.
For a more in-depth look at the Holocaust and how it came to be, school tours can explore our Road to the Holocaust tour which takes students around two of WW2’s most pivotal cities. Beginning in Berlin, home to the conception and planning of the Final Solution, students will be able to see first-hand where the Gestapo and SS began to execute their terrible regime.
The tour will then head east to Poland, where students will be able to see the effect that the Nazi’s had on the city of Krakow with a trip to the pre-war Jewish communities, and a full day’s study in the infamous Auschwitz concentration camp.
At Anglia, we can arrange tailor-made yours whatever your subject. Each of our school trips makes sure to adhere to your learning objectives, as well as those of the most popular curriculums.
