Anne Frank & the Dutch Holocaust

Tour Introduction

Such is the scale of loss experienced during the Holocaust that it is almost impossible for most of us to fully comprehend its magnitude. Yet, amidst the 11 million people who died in the Ghettos and Camps set up across Europe by the Nazi regime, it is possible to personalise the suffering and to walk in the footsteps of one who experienced this at first hand.

This tour will lead students to study human responses to prejudice, discrimination, racism and genocide. It explores the issues of forgiveness and reconciliation after war and suffering; making sense out of death;  and addressing the problem of what to do when faced by an evil authority.
