Local Heroes Day – A Student Review
You don’t have to travel to the Front Line to explore the impact of the First World War. From the many headstones found in churchyards the length and breadth of the country, to the various museums and trench systems and memorials, its legacy is all around us. On Local Heroes Tour, our guides can tailor make a day to learn more about the Great War and the impact on your local community.
Pupils at The Fitzwimarc School took part in a Local Heroes Day with Anglia Guides Sean Cripps, Richard Burgess, Dickie Knight and Frank Toogood combining Living History with a visit to a local CWGC Cemetery. Take a look at this student review of the day.
