Few cities in Western Europe capture the imagination like Rome. The name of the city alone conjures up images of power, wealth and grandeur; images which become reality as soon as you visit the ‘Eternal City’.
Rome has so much to see – and not simply for students of Ancient History and Classics. Our walking tours of the city, led by expert guides, provide you with a chance to marvel at theColosseum, to meander through the Forum and be overwhelmed by the architecture of the Pantheon – and that’s only the start. You can include a tour of the Vatican Museum, St Peter’s and the Sistine Chapel, or an excursion to Ostia Antica, the harbour city of ancient Rome at the mouth of the River Tiber, now a wonderful archaeological site.
Rome is also the ideal starting point for a wider tour of Italy. There are so many options but why not ask us for details of tours to Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum or a visit to Sorrento and the Bay of Naples.

My daughter has come home
buzzing, full of excitement,
saying that it is the best trip
she has been on.
